Testimonies
Melchizedek

Are you releasing good news into the atmosphere? Are you telling others of how great God has been to you? How God delivered you, healed you, rescued you, and vindicated from the grasps of satan? Are you holding on to your testimonies because you don’t want to be accused of bragging or making someone jealous? The Word of God encourages us to spread the good news to others. Revelations 12:11, states “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

I encourage you men and women of God to release your testimonies on this site so that the world can read your testimonies. As individuals of little or no faith read your testimonies, they will hear and feel the power of God. As they hear and feel the power of God moving in others’ lives prayerfully they will be encouraged; encouragement leads to believing, believing increases faith, and faith activates victory.

  • While completing my teaching internship I was called and offered a job at a school I really did not want to work at. I was asked for by name by the principal and was grateful for the opportunity. I accepted the job. I thought I had a job waiting for me after graduating from graduate school. This particular job “fell” through two weeks before my internship was scheduled to end. I was at a standstill. I did what my family and I learned to do: pray. My husband then told me at times things may not work out the way we think they should because God has a better plan. He told me to apply for jobs in another county not too far from our home. Over the course of the weekend, I prayed and submitted my resume to 9 schools late on a Sunday night. I rose on Monday, prayed on the situation, and went about my day. Around 3:30 pm on Monday, the assistant principal from a particular school called and asked was I interested in coming in to discuss the job on Friday. I said “yes”. I praised God for the interview and was sure other schools would call as well. They did not. Friday finally arrived and I was excited to see the mighty hand of God work. I arrived at my interview 30 minutes early and waited patiently. Finally it was my turn to interview and I felt a sweet peace over me. The interview went great and I found words to reply to questions I was asked that I only knew God could give me. I was then introduced to the class in need of a teacher. They were the sweetest group of children. When the assistant principal and I arrived back in the principal’s office, the secretary had joined us and I was offered the job on the spot. I graciously accepted! I knew it was from God. I still get emotional when I think about the process I had to go through in order for the Lord to bless my family. I am a witness if you truly trust God, leave all issues at His feet, and stop trying to figure things out on your own, God will show His power right on time. At times, you may feel you have run out of options because you can’t see the forest because of the trees, however, remain steadfast, immovable, and praise Him while you wait for your deliverance. He always shows up right on time!

  • I remember when I had lost my job (12/2009) and I was down to my last few dollars. There were bills due and I had no cash to pay my creditors, no money to purchase food. I remember sitting in my living room thinking Lord what am I going to do? I can recall reading the scripture Luke 6:38. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. I recall going to church and during offering time I was so excited about giving God his just due in other words paying my tithes. I did not have a second thought to the issue. Even though I did not have the funds to support my family I trusted God and believed he would make a way. The following Wednesday a check for $1353.62 arrived in the mail. It was from my homeowner’s insurance company. Their explanation for the check was, they had overcharged my account. Mind you I had that policy for over two years. The bible says in Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty,” and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. Let’s look at the Amplified bible translation of the above scripture. Malachi 3:10 10 Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

How does that scripture apply to man today?

Note, Those that deny God his part of their estates may justly expect a curse upon their own part of them: “You are cursed with a curse for robbing me, and yet you go on to do it.” The antidote for the “curse” upon us is to be faithful in the gifts required by God’s ordinances. Tithing is one of those antidotes. Tithing is an ordinance put in place by God and is to be observed forever. Tithing is not just a matter of giving to receive; however, it’s also the concept of righteousness and blessings. It’s the principle of respect, honor, and obedience to God whereby we release our fruits into Gods ministry. The scripture states honor me and I will honor you despise me and I will despise you. As a man of God you can’t expect to receive anything from God if you do not place him first and follow his word. If blessings come your way it’s due to God’s love for us and His Grace and mercy, it’s not part of the promise in which He made to His greatest creation. When we put God first as men of God we can expect God to move on our behalf.

Verse 11 states: and I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the lord of hosts. How does that scripture apply to man today? This scripture does not always means that you will receive a miracle. However you can trust and believe that the Lord will work it all out in your favor.

  • I was going to wait to release my testimony, but I can’t. I have fought battles of passing required tests for my job. We have spent endless amount of money to pay for the tests because some I have taken more than once. However, I believe I am in the teaching profession to make a difference and I have faith God can do what I may not see in all situations. However, I took the Exceptional Education Exam. Pastor ZuBari had prophesied the month of June was going to be a month of breakthrough. I received that because I knew what was standing ahead of me: My “Goliath” named the Exceptional Education Exam. With that in mind, I fasted consistently, studied the Word, studied the exam preparation materials, paid my tithes, sowed a seed, and prayed constantly. June 13 arrived and I went to take the exam. As I got out of the van, the Holy Spirit reminded me it was already done. I signed in & prayed as I waited to be seated. Finally, I was seated and logged into the exam. I felt a calmness come over me. The test has a timeframe of 2 hours but I was done in about an hour and 15 minutes! I checked over each question, praying, 3 times. I raised my hand and was able to sign out and leave the testing center. I walked to the van and I heard the Lord say “you passed.” I cried. It took 4 weeks for the results to arrive. I received the email on July 7th stating I could review my results for the exam. I reminded God He said I had passed. I checked my score on July 8 around 1 pm, it read “passed.” I thanked God immediately.

God is good and when something is spoken over your life prophetically: believe it and do your part (pray and fast consistently and read the Word of God). God is in the blessing business. If you try something and it doesn’t work out, don’t give up!

  • My testimony is all about faith. When I had my heart attack I did not even know I was having one. Symptoms associated with acid reflux is something I have been dealing with for a while. Therefore a heart attack was the farthest from my mind. When I visited my family in Florida and the acid relax came and went, I did not think anything was out of order. Upon returning to Tennessee, I went to the doctor, thinking I could get medicine for my acid reflux. Still no clue I was having a heart attack. The doctor said “no “, to acid reflux medicine because I was not experiencing symptoms associated with acid reflux, it was a heart attack. I was told there was a probability I had been experiencing small attacks for awhile. After the doctor ran test, I was told I had 7 blockage and had to have open heart surgery. The surgery went fine! I am blessed. I AM STILL HERE ONLY BY God’s GRACE AND MERCY. FAITH brought me through. I thank Him! We go through things to get to something. Sickness comes to all, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual, but God says through His many stripes we are healed. Have faith and believe!

  • God is amazing. He has shown His power time after time, after time. This testimony is to validate if you pay your tithes, sow seeds, and walk out God’s Word daily, and have faith. He will ALWAYS take care of His people. It was pay day in our home. I did my normal routine of paying the bills. After paying the bills, the end balance was $1.80 leaving our finances low and vulnerable. The lowest I had seen in 15 years. We had decided to pay off some bills and sow into the ministry a few weeks prior. We did not foresee satan attacking our finances, but he did. We had reviewed our budget and knew we would not have an abundance left from this paycheck but not as low as the numerals I wrote down in our checkbook. I had been hearing Jehovah Jireah, my Provider all week long. I was then reminded why I was hearing this. It was for this moment as I looked at our checkbook. However, we decided to be obedient and still pay our bills and tithes to include sowing seeds into our ministry. After we prayed, we decided God had a plan in place for the next two weeks and He was going to show up and show out. Peace felt good in my spirit. I then checked another account we have and noticed when I logged in, our available balance reflected over a thousand dollars more than our checkbook. When I clicked on details, I saw a deposit had been made into our account for

$1,250.00! I immediately began speaking in tongues and crying out to the Lord, thanking Him. Our youngest son was in the room and asked me “was I alright.” Crying, I told him God is good! He replied “Yes, He is.” God is amazing and if we hold on to His unchanging hand and trust in His every word and transform our minds to believe we are going to receive whatever we ask for in prayer if we trust, have faith, and let go and let God have His way. No matter what it looks like.
